Masthead

Named editorial chain of responsibility. Who decides what runs, who edits it, and who you contact when we get it wrong.

Last updated

One-editor desk. Aditya Sharma writes, edits, and signs every verdict. No staff writers. No syndicated content. No AI-only pieces. Every piece is reviewed by the BazaarBaazi Editorial Council, a 5-voice AI-augmented review framework. Author bio at /author/aditya-sharma.

BazaarBaazi runs a small, named newsroom. Every story has a human editor of record. The masthead below documents who holds which seat, what decisions sit with them, and how to reach them.

Editor-in-Chief

Aditya Sharma (Editor-in-Chief, BazaarBaazi). Final sign-off on every piece. Sets the editorial line, commissions stories, edits drafts, and signs corrections. Reachable at [email protected] for editorial, or [email protected] for everything else. Background: capital markets professional in a non-research role with a decade inside market structure, parallel decade as a builder of consumer software products. Aditya is not a SEBI-registered research analyst or investment adviser. Full bio at author page.

Editorial Council

Every signed verdict passes a 5-voice review before publication. Builder, Skeptic, Quant, Brand, and Synthesizer voices interrogate each draft from five distinct angles. The framework is documented at The Council. Accountability for published verdicts is tracked at the verdict ledger.

Desk leads

Four standing desks. Each lead is responsible for the daily story queue, the angle, the named source list, and the desk's coverage areas.

Copy desk

Every published story passes through copy desk: em-dash strip, headline rewrite to active-voice, JSON-LD frontmatter validator, factual claim cross-check against the sources cited in the draft. The copy desk is empowered to send a story back to the writing desk for verification before the editor-in-chief signs off.

Image desk

Hero images on BazaarBaazi are sourced from primary publishers (Reuters, Bloomberg, the Economic Times, Mint, the Hindu Business Line, etc.) and from public-domain or Creative Commons archives (Wikimedia, government photo pools). Images are embedded via the original publisher's URL with attribution; we do not redistribute photos from our own CDN unless the publisher has dropped the original. Full sourcing rules are at the data sources page.

Corrections officer

Corrections are handled by the editor-in-chief. Reach [email protected] for any error report. Material corrections are logged publicly on the corrections page and at the foot of the relevant article. We aim to respond within 24 hours and to publish material corrections within 48 hours.

Ethics, complaints, ombudsman

BazaarBaazi has not yet appointed an external ombudsman. While the publication is small, the editor-in-chief is the final escalation. The commitment is to reply to every complaint within five working days and to publish a public response when the complaint touches a published story. If a complaint cannot be resolved internally, readers may refer the matter to SEBI or the Press Council of India per the issue's nature.

Independence and ownership

BazaarBaazi is wholly owned by Aditya Sharma as a sole proprietorship. There are no outside investors, sponsoring brokers, promoter groups, or platform partners with editorial influence. The full ownership and funding statement is at ownership and funding.
