BazaarBaazi Verdict Ledger
A public, append-only record of every BazaarBaazi editorial verdict. Accountability infrastructure, not investment advice.
Live since 2026-05-14. The ledger tracks 9 active editorial verdicts. Each row links to the originating article. Marked-to-market levels update at NSE close on each trading day. A long-position real-money trade journal layer is under separate compliance review.
What the ledger is
Every signed editorial verdict BazaarBaazi publishes lands as a timestamped row on this page. Entry date, instrument, verdict (long or short or avoid or watch), the editorial entry level, the current marked-to-market level, the percentage move, and whether the verdict is open, closed, stopped, or expired.
The ledger is append-only. No entry is silently removed. Where an outcome later contradicts a verdict, the row is marked accordingly and the originating piece carries a correction footer linking back to corrections.
Why this exists
Indian financial publications publish recommendations and rarely publish the outcomes. Brokerage research desks tabulate hit rates for institutional clients but never for retail readers. The BazaarBaazi ledger fixes that asymmetry by default. The desk pays for every verdict with a public scoreboard. Good calls compound reader trust. Bad calls compound reader trust differently, by showing the desk is accountable.
What this is not
- This is not a recommendation. The ledger does not tell the reader to buy, sell, or hold.
- This is not a managed portfolio. BazaarBaazi does not accept funds, does not manage capital for readers, and is not a portfolio service.
- This is not investment advice. Every entry is editorial opinion based on publicly disclosed data, published as independent media.
- Past editorial calls do not predict future calls. Markets carry risk. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before acting on any analysis.
Conflict of interest disclosure
The editor-in-chief discloses personal positions at disclosure and conflicts. The restricted-list rules at ethics policy apply: no story is published on a security where the editor has opened a position in the prior five trading days, and no position is opened on a security covered in a story within five trading days after publication.

Methodology
Verdicts are timestamped at the moment of publication on the relevant BazaarBaazi article. The entry level is the closing price on the day of publication, taken from the National Stock Exchange. Current level is the most recent NSE close. MTM is the simple percentage move from entry to current, before transaction costs. Status moves to closed when the originating piece publishes a follow-up verdict on the same name; to stopped when the original thesis is publicly retracted; to expired when the underlying instrument lifecycle ends (delisting, merger, IPO listing, etc.).
Audit
Year-end audit of the ledger is published by the BazaarBaazi editor-in-chief on December 31 each year, beginning December 31, 2026. The audit reconciles every open and closed verdict against the original article timestamps and the NSE close print.
