Cookie Policy
Which cookies BazaarBaazi sets, which our third-party services set, and how to turn them off at the source.
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise you on a subsequent visit or measure which pages you read. This page documents every cookie set on bazaarbaazi.com, by us and by the third-party services we use, and how to switch each one off.
Cookies BazaarBaazi itself sets
None. BazaarBaazi is a statically exported site with no login, session, or shopping-cart layer on the public surface. We do not set first-party cookies. If a future feature requires a first-party cookie (for example, an Insider-tier subscription session), this page will be updated before that feature ships.
Third-party cookies set on this site
Cloudflare
Cloudflare serves the site and runs the Web Analytics beacon. The __cf_bm cookie is set briefly to distinguish humans from bots for security. Web Analytics itself is cookieless. See cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.
Google AdSense and DoubleClick
We display AdSense ads under publisher ID ca-pub-9354794048128986. Google and its advertising partners may set the following cookies in your browser to measure ad performance and personalise the ads you see:
NID: Google account preferences, including ad personalisation.IDEandDSID: DoubleClick advertising identifiers.- Other cookies as listed at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
You can opt out of ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. You will still see ads on BazaarBaazi, but they will not be personalised to you.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 for measurement. It sets the _ga and _gid cookies to count unique visitors and sessions. We have enabled IP anonymisation and turned off Advertising Features. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Razorpay
If you initiate a payment on a future Insider page, Razorpay sets its own cookies to maintain the checkout session. These cookies are set only on the payment page, not on the rest of the site. See razorpay.com/privacy.
How to control cookies
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. The settings live under Privacy or Site Settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Blocking all cookies will not break BazaarBaazi reading; it may prevent ad personalisation and turn ad relevance into generic display.
For a broader, industry-wide opt-out of personalised advertising, see youronlinechoices.com/in for Indian readers.
DPDP-compliant consent approach
BazaarBaazi does not display a cookie consent banner. We have made this choice because, first, our analytics is anonymised by Cloudflare and through GA4's IP-anonymisation setting; second, AdSense personalisation can be controlled by the user at the provider level (Google Ads Settings); and third, we set no first-party tracking cookies. If the DPDP Act's implementing regulations require an explicit consent flow at a later date, we will add one and document it here.
Updates
This policy was last updated on the date shown at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced on the BazaarBaazi home page for 30 days.
